Opa Cupa
Dance! Dance!
Great band from Derry. Have toured extensively round Europe and are very busy on the festival scene. They are returning back home to host their annual Folk Klub Christmas Special in Sandinos Bar, always great craic. I'll see you there.

ASS - One Piece Concept
Nice wee tune from a band called 'ASS'. Reminds me a bit of the Kama Aina stuff I posted a few weeks ago.

Charles Bradley - The World (Is Going Up In Flames)
Saw this guy live on a beach in Bundoran, Donegal about 3/4 years ago. Was blown away by his voice and his soul. Been too long since I listened to him.

Dan Le Sac Vs. Scroobius Pip
Stunner
Gold Teeth (feat. Flux Pavilion)
New album from Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, 'Repent, Replenish, Repeat'. Have mixed feelings about this album, some catchy parts happening in there, always gonna get some well written lyrics when Pip's involved. Think I prefer the first album they done together a few years back, or Pip's more rock orientated solo album from a couple of years ago.

Love these guys, saw them about 3/4 years ago, was an amazing show, just completely mesmerising. They are playing in Belfast on the 24th of October. Have to try and get down to that show.

The Asteroid Galaxy Tour - Major
Track off their second album, out last year. Worth a listen for that horn line alone.
The Asteroid Galaxy Tour - Around The Bend
Funky little band from Denmark. This is off their first album, you've probably heard it from some advert.
Tom Waits - Tom Traubert's Blues [Four Sheets To The Wind In Copenhagen]
Could listen to Tom Waits all day... and I often do.

The National - Demons
Forgot about The National's new album 'Trouble Will Find Me', out earlier this year. Haven't had a chance to give it a proper listen, seems to be pretty much what you'd expect from The National... Good.
First Aid Kit - Emmylou
Heard these girls a while back, it seems they have become a lot more popular after their performance at Glastonbury this year. Their album 'The Lion's Roar' is great, they've got a couple of other albums that I'm yet to check out.

Robyn G Shiels
Upon Such Things
Underneath The Night Of Stars
This lad grew up down the road from me. Based in Belfast now as far as I know... Does gigs all over the show, worth going to see if you get the chance.

The Lost Brothers - Who Could Love You More
Saw these guys recently at the Foyle Folk Festival... 'twas lovely.
Charlie Rayne - The Sun Rose
From a band called Beirut, playing in the streets, to a man from the streets of Beirut.
Saw this guy live a couple of months ago, was great. Actually met him in a bar later that night, he is the nicest guy in the world.
Nathaniel Rateliff - Early Spring Till
You've probably heard it, it's lovely. Why not listen again anyway?
